The (now Chief-less) Fighting Illini lost their season opener in a good game to Missouri, doing decent even after our star QB was knocked out of the game. Hopes look better for this year, considering if we even win 3 games it would be a 50% improvement on the previous two seasons, and maybe we can spring an upset in the Big 10.

Also, any week is a good week when both michigan and ND are knocked for sensational losses.

And I give a somewhat enthusiastic I-O, being a native.
