$699. A friend of mine helped pay for it, though he wishes to remain unnamed, heh. As you can see, they're normaly a bit more than that, but had a great sale going on Black Friday. They're on sale again now, but for $100 more than last time. Just a few days ago they were at $900.

I can't say for ALL Olevias, since some of them are so different from each other, but this one is great. For the price, it can't be beat. All the reviews that say the picture quality is near par with the sets twice it's price aren't bullshitting you, it really can hang with those big dogs. Where it lacks is in the features compared to the samsung, pioneer, sony TVs. It only has 1 HDMI port. The PIP is pretty much useless since there's no remote button to use it, instead you have to flip through a bunch of menu crap to get to it. As far adjusting it goes, it is very limited in adjustment options, but that's not a real bad thing since what you do have to work with gets the job done. The speakers that come with it are pretty much crap, which isn't so bad since most people with HDTVs also get surround sound systems as well.

It almost seems like they went all out getting a picture quality of a higher end TV, but left everything else out to save on cost. It is cosmetically nice looking as well, which is cool.

There are some things it DOES Have that some HDTVs don't have though. Like the amount of inputs other than HDMI are pretty crazy.

The video processor in it is said to be high quality, and normally you don't see it in TVs under 2 grand.

Overall I love this TV. It's still not a $3,000 Sony, or one of those 10,000:1 contrast Samsungs, but it is an amazing TV for the price.

forgot to say, that desk came from my last job. I worked for a nursing home and they got all new nurse stations, so me and my dad (who works there too) asked to get the stuff. he has a smaller version (longer but 1-sided) upstairs. inside some of the drawers are filing racks so i keep my cd key jackets and shit in there. otherwise just cables, spare parts, notebooks (the paper kind) etc go in there.

woot for free shit.
