The line in my area starts at nine and they said they expect to have at least two times what people reserved, just to let the lazy people get a copy on launch

yeah. which i think is f'n awesome. no reason to limit the number of copies going out so people can sell for a lot more on ebay. just let everyone be able to pick it up lol. any insight from anyone who played the beta?

Yeah the graphics are tons better than 2.
Some people say they aren't, but those people clearly haven't compared the two.
The new items are pretty sick, I can see lots of good strategic use coming to those.
New vehicles/weapons.
Everything is the bomb.

I'm sure someone will find something like that, not sure if it'll be the same kinda glitches.

GameStop is ghey. Wal-mart's going to have no lines, and special checkouts just for halo 3. Plus, the people there aren't assholes, they just dont' give a shit. So i'll be getting it around Midnight from wallymart.

Bunch of my friends already have it though. It's been out there for firmware modded 360s. I hear it's amazing, but I wont let them tell me any more than that. I want no spoilers :\

I just hate Gamestop. Almost every specialty game store has been shit. Wal-mart or best buy would be decent though. Target even. Since Wal-mart is doing that special shit, i'll be there though.

i went to walmart for the wii release. and we waited outside for fucking ever. and then my gf got me one so i sold my place in line to some guy for like $80. he gave me the money to buy the wii and i kept the change, but i forgot to give him the receipt. so when he was trying to get out with like 5 wii's (cuz he gave his 2 kids and his dad money to get some too), security wouldnt let him go by. so he yelled and called the balck lady at the door a c*nt and left.... :-) f'n walmart
