Default Are You Hardcore(Fanboy)?

I guess TIME Magazine did an article about how you can differentiate between the casual and hardcore gamers aka Fanboys(as they put it). The Hardcore are the ones who pay the $15 a month to play a game like WoW or other MMOs, or the ones who pay per month to get on Xbox Live. So, do you agree? Are you hardcore?

How are you considered a "hardcore" gamer, if you are stupid enough to pay a fee to play a game? Spending $40-50 isnt enough for people these days, now they want you to pay MORE to play..... you are a hardcore gamer in my eyes if....

1)You play both PC and Console games.
2)You play all the different genre's of games.
3)You do nothing but play video games 24/7 and have no life.
4)You use the word "noob" in real life situations.
5)When someone tells you a joke or does something funny, you say "lol" as in you say ell oh ell instead of laughing.
6)The PC, Consoles, Games, and all the peripherals in your room total more then $20,000(my brother 0_0).
7)When not playing games *GASP*, you regularly look for new upcoming games that are coming out.

Which ones do you guys fall under? :D I fall under 1,2,4(guilty),and 5(done that a couple times on accident :()

I only fall under 1,2, and 4. Does that make me a hardcore gamer?

I have never subscribed to anything like Xbox Live or any MMO.

They also claim Hardcore is the same thing as Fanboy. Some gamers agree with that statement. What do you guys think?

Well......

"Fanboy or Fanboi is a term used to describe an individual (usually male, though the feminine version fangirl may be used for females) who is utterly devoted to a single fannish subject, or to a single point of view within that subject, often to the point where it is considered an obsession. Fanboys remain loyal to their particular obsession, disregarding any factors that differ from their point of view. Fanboys are also stereotypically aggressive and hateful towards the opposing brand or competition of their obsession regardless of its merits or achievements."

You decide for yourself if they are the same.:(
