Reminder to the admins:

Heh, yeah I ship a config file with the game so that I can easily bind my keys on any AA installation. This is really handy when installing a new internal development build for testing and verification.

As far as the CVAR kicks, well those must be coming from some admin's custom CVAR script checks, not pure PB. Not sure why any admin would check for freecamera or behindview binds considering they don't even work on non-cheat servers. I believe some admins are going a little CVAR check crazy these days. If you remember the issues we had right after the v2.6 release which broke several of these 'non official' admin scripts.

A word to the wise, v2.7 will absolutely break almost every custom CVAR check in the game right now. Admins pay attention - you will need to remove these checks when v2.7 is released and make new ones for v2.7. I'll make this clearer when we get closer to release time, but v2.7 will bring a ton of changes (especially to the code and package structure) - all for the better of course!

I use freecamera and behind view a lot in testing and verification (especially for 3rd person functionality - i.e. animations). These are also handy when demoing the game, like for the press at E3 for example.

I have no idea what 'boxing' is, I have always used the space bar for crouch since I use crouch so much more than I jump in the game. Usually when I stop moving to look or cover, I always crouch. Anyway, feel free to use them - assuming you are not on a paranoid admin's server who uses the overkill CVAR checks.
