Looks like you married into rich blood Khaoz. You are spot on with multicultural education. It is incorporating every culture into the curriculum, in the past it wasn't always like that; now it has gotten to where you have to talk about each race equally or something like that. But like I said, I was thinking to myself, if you didn't contribute in the past...whether that be because slavery or whatever, why should you be mentioned? Shouldn't we be talking about people who matter and made a real contribution? I mean as individuals of course, slaves made great contributions and we learn about them in school; but no Bubba Sapp who planted Cotton from the age of 5 until he died. I know its lame, but blacks were put into a position where they couldn't do anything significant except fight for their freedom.

But then I began to ask myself, well, they were never in a position to do anything significant. Its not their fault, its the fault of the slaveholders. That is why it is a great sign to see African Americans rising up through the college levels, acting like typical people, and possibly breaking out. I just hope that in viewing the contributions of black people, there is a realistic look that they will not be doing as much as white people because there isn't as many of them. Racism will end when African Americans actually start contributing to society. More teachers in white schools, more doctors and lawyers, more engineers.

Affirmative action is supposedly to make it easier for minorities to get into these fields. I use to think that Affirmative action was totally wrong and racist and screwed over deserving people. But then I realized that a lot of black people are stuck because of where they are and don't get the opportunities. They don't, its a fact. I know if I was born in the middle of a druggy neighborhood I probably would have turned out to be a pimp instead of a teacher. I just wish Affirmative action was changed to all people who are in that position and not just black people. It takes out some of those racist qualities.

For the kids online calling each other niggers. Meh, they are immature and they are hiding behind a computer. They know if they call somebody a nigger in real life they would get the shit beat out of them so they do it. I don't blame that on racism, I don't think they are really racist, they just want to talk shit because they can; and when you think about it, nigger is the only word that has the potential to really piss people off. And because it has been used so much it is now part of the internet slang.
