Halo 3 better is very VERY promising...
It's not as good as the original, but it's about 10x better than the kidified Halo 2... No more auto aim and less spray and pray... But not quite the pistol/sniper onslaught that made the original so entertaining =P
Halo 2 for Vista was pushed back until the 31st of May so it's almost out.
About the time that Halo 3 beta came out bungie hit its fans with some great news; Halo 3 itself was given a new street date... about 2 weeks earlier than originally scheduled; thus they are pretty confident with the game.
Halo 3 will hit the shelves on the 25th of September this year.
I've had a lot more fun playing the Halo 3 beta than I ever did Halo 2, and I prefer the gameplay over gears (I just never really got used to third person shooter thing...Or rather I never REALLY got into it like i did a first person shooter)
