Why not just get an R4? Costs as much as 1-2 games and you can have every game ever so easy.
A good multi game though is Mario Kart. I like that game :O
I hear metroid is fun online too. I like how Metroid controls in singleplayer a lot, so maybe the multi would work well. They should do more FPS on the DS. The way Metroid is done up, it's pretty cool.
