Bungie splits from Microsoft
 

I wonder how that's going to turn out.

Bill Gates is seriously an entrepreneurial genius...They left out the part where Microsoft still holds over 75% share in the "Independent Company." IMO This is part of a marketing strategy so that while their games will probably always be geared toward the 360 (Since Bungie still has their hand in Microsoft's pocket and vice versa) but now, with Bungie being separate, they can make money off multiple systems...Thereby increasing total revenue and increasing the companies net worth, adding more economic profit to the fiscal portfolio of Microsoft...All without having violating their own brand loyalty - simply by letting Bungie be an "Independent" company...
