new torrents
 

ive been downloading from mininova.org for a while but its been lacking for me lately. for instance i cant even find a good copy of windows xp pro corp w/ sp2.

anyone have any other good sites they use, or any private sites i can get an invite to?

I still use Newzbin and Usenet personaly. I can download full DVDs from there in about 30 minutes. It downloads at the full speed of my connection with no "build up" time like with torrents. I get the full 8mbits/s which comes out to be more like 1,200 Kbytes a second. It's great though. Most anything you find on any other Warez site, shows up on Newzbin first, then spreads from there. It costs $12 a month, but considering I download like 4-5 perfect DVD movies a night sometimes, it's worth it. All the games, audio books, eBooks, movies, tv shows, etc. It's worth it, especialy at that speed.

Other then that, the torrent site I used to use was www.torrentspy.com

yeah everyone uses torrentspy... bleh. i spend $18 a month on netflix already, dont want to spend more on a download site.

Get rid of netflix then if you have a decent connection. I download perfect DVDs in a half hour man. Netflix can't touch that. I get some movies in real high quality a few days after they hit theaters, and sometimes before. Like CARS, I had a near DVD quality version of it less than a week after it hit theaters for my son and I to watch here at home. Personally, since netflix takes time to send things, and has limits in how many you get, and doesn't supply the games/books/etc etc, I'd go with a usenet server. Seriously, my wife names a movie she wants to watch, 30 minutes later we're watching it. It's that simple.

But yeah, i don't know many torrent sites. Freeman does though, maybe he'll list some.

I don't see why people still use torrents

I tried that newsgroups thing, but it wouldnt connect. So i gave up on it, torrents work for me for now.
