EQ2 launchpad
 

I just got the game and when i started up the launchpad to dl the files the estimated time it gave me was 17:50:40...i have cable internet and there's no way it should take almost 18 hours to dl the stuff. is there anyother way i can get these same files?

Well did you do the digital download version or did you buy the game at retail? If it is the digital download it will take a long time prolly not 17 hours but it starts high and then moves to a lower time frame. I would recommend trying to dl it when you are asleep or away. It will be a healthy dl the first time you run the game since they have been putting in free content and zones to play in also a new playable class for free and all that. I am running another guild now called the Qeynosian Alliance. Give me a holler in game we are on the Vox server it is PvP.

yeah i got it all done. saddly though im probably not gonna be able play. i got a new vista machine. (1gb ram 3600 dual processor) but for some reason EQ2 doesnt like vista so i cant even run it on super low settings...

I have friend's in guild who run eq2 on vista the thing is vista is a resource hog and eats up all you got if you add more ram you will be fine right now you are prolly using most of that 1 GB of ram you have to run vista. I am sure it is not the game it is the OS and all the resources it uses. Anyway hope to see you in game.
