Everyone needs Ventrilo
 

We plan on using Vent for our competetive teams. I know this might suck for those of you who don't play your 360 next to your PC, but if you want to play competetivly, we'll need to be able to talk to eachother after we're dead. Many teams we've played have had 3 or 4 of the players in the same room, so they could guide the other players around and help them out after people had died, and we need to have a way to meet that advantage and make it like all of us were in the same room, and Ventrilo is the answer.

You can choose to only use vent when we're in matches, or can do like freeman and I will do, and have the 360 headset on one ear, and the PC headset on the other. I'ma try and rig something to make that work.

Just giving everyone a headsup so you all can start getting situated to make this work with your setups.

cant you just open up a private chat with 4 people and just not have the ability to talk in public chat to the other team when you are dead

Private chat is only one on one.. I cannot do this because my 360 is in another room, about 20 feet away and through a door. I can play my game on my LCD but it has the horrible aspect ratio bug

Alright I set it up. I play on 640*320 or something, the res is really low but there is no stretching. I can use vent and play at the same time.

argh my friend took my pc headset when he left for college cause I broke his so I have to buy another one. But once I get a new headset it will be no problem for me to do vent while I play cause my pc is 5 feet away from my 360.
