New Forums, New Site, and What they Could Mean for Us
 

What a lot of people don't seem to realize, is appearance is a major part of everything. Having these new sick and updated looking forums with all the latest updates and scripts is a major deal. Why? Because what to good players like myself look for when a clan wants us to join them? If I don't know much about the clan, I look at their website, and if it seems well put together, like time and effort was put into it, I feel better trusting that the same time and effort goes into the workings of the clan, and that the leadership has their shit together. The old FA site had aged to far, and no longer held that quality.

Now when people visit, they'll see a wicked banner, some new forums and things that cost money, a well put together theme that expresses hardcore and ready to fuck shit up, and they will want to be a part of it.

I don't know why some people don't see that, but that's their problem, and I say fuck em. FA needs to move into the future. FA WILL move into the future. We will grow, and we will get back to being something fun and respectable. Something people are so proud of being a part of that they tag their PC Case with FA pride as you saw in Max Sterling's pictures.

We will prosper.

i look for idlers and how well known they are in the css community.
take my team right now for example. we roll everybody, we're cal-o for life, and everybody talks shit to us.

Just wanted to post, because this is completely hilarious... Being a gamer myself, and an artist, I took interest in this.

My illustration professor (furthemore, the artist who did the piece of work you ripped from the internet for your header) showed us your site today as a good example of copyright infringement, and the potential consequences of it.

Just because you aren't making money doesn't mean it's illegal. Go to Blockbuster and steal a DVD - take it home and copy it for personal use. You might not be making money, but it's still illegal, isn't it?

I'm glad you've agreed to take it down, but I know for a fact it wasn't because 'you two discussed it'. I hope you enjoy the cease and desist letter you received, and know the fact that the work itself belongs, in fact, to a well known gaming corporation.

I hope you've learned your lesson. Just because you found it on Google Images doesn't make it FREE.

I never recieved any "Cease and Desist" letter. I am removing it because of what him and I discussed(he wanted us to use his original art, and it wouldn't fit with our colors), and if you'd like me to post you what he and I discussed, PM me. Sounds to me like you're either making things up, or he's lying to you, but for what reason, I do not know.

We already had a new header setup to go with our new website, which is why I decided that rather than put up the original image as he requested, we'll go ahead and use our new header here very soon.

And no, we broke no laws.

We already had a new header completed for the new site, so there is no need to ask or employ Shane to edit our current header to fit his and our requirements. Instead, we will just remove his artwork, and put up our new header soon.

He and his original work are respected, as well as his and our wishes.

Case settled, and closed.
