Welcome fellow Diablo Fans to my humble abode. I trust you will all enjoy your stay and I look forward to getting to know everyone. Although this clan is being formed for the new ladder season and patch 1.13 I've decided to open the forums to begin organising things and to allow those of us still playing 1.12 to play together. We'll be playing Softcore Ladder on USEast but if there is increased interest from others to start on another server or to play HC I don't see why we can't have multiple groups.

To join the D2 Division go to the Anything Goes forum and view the [How To] on how to join a division. If there are any questions please feel free to post here or send me a PM. For those of you wishing to host sigs or ava's feel free to use our File section :)

Use this thread to post a little something about yourself and include some contact info such as Xfire, MSN, AIM, etc. if you feel comfortable doing so. Also, of course, include your bnet account. I'll post something about myself soon but I have to get back to work!

Some of you have already read this if you've been paying attention to the FA group on www.diablofans.com but I'm pasting it here for those who haven't.

Well I've been on computers since I can remember. My father was into IT so I was always playing new games and stuff. When I was 14 I joined FA for their Starcraft division but ended up playing Unreal Tournament competitively for them. Eventually we played UT2k3. I became an admin when I was 16. I started playing D2 with FA around 1.09 and played every season since except for 1.12. I also led a competitive division for Americas Army with FA for many years. Eventually I gained the highest rank possible although I stepped down when I began to prepare for college. By the time I was 20 I stepped down as leader of AA to do better in my studies. I don't play any games for FA anymore but I'm still an admin and helped rebuild the site. During the process though we lost all our divisions except WoW. All that seems so long ago. I'm 22 now and I must say it's been an amazing experience being in such a great community for so long. That's my gaming background in a nutshell. Recently I've been playing Americas Army 3 which just released but it's still quite glitchy so I haven't been playing all that much of it. I've played some WoW and CS: Source as well as many other games over the years. My Xfire is iceblade122. My fav D2 char is a Light Sorc but I also like Smiters.

I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I'm a full-time student and also working full-time managing a warehouse so I can't play competitively which is why D2 has been a great game for me over the last 3 years. I can just hop on anytime and continue you know? Doesn't matter at what time or w/e. This next semester is my last at this school though and I'm only taking 3 classes so I should have plenty of time for D2 I also have a gf whom I have been with for over a year now and things seem fairly serious. Who knows how that will turn out though. In any case she takes up a lot of my time lawl. I enjoy camping, hiking, snowboarding, boating, reading and of course computers. I build my own pc's and I'm also proficient with any software given enough time to learn it. Since it's summer I've been going out a lot to bars and parties. My gf and I have also been doing all the touristy things there are to do in Montreal. It's quite fun to view your city as a tourist. I guess that about sums it up for the moment but I'm sure we'll all get to know each other fairly well as we start to play together and get talking.

Glad to see you guys here. Umm so who's playing in the current season and what server are you all on? If people are playing now before the ladder reset I'll make a char.

I started a Sorc on SC Ladder East to play while I'm at work lol.

Anyhow here I am waiting for teh patch.

Nothing happened to DiabloFans- this site just fit the needs we have for a clan better than DiabloFans, which is more a news and community site than a clan site. You're still free to post there and stuff, but this is mainly where everyone will be at in the future, when the clan is officially launched with the reset and patch 1.13.

And welcome, by the way :D

Hello all. Wanna take part in ur clan also / softcore or hardcore doesnt really matter, hope for some good team in closed games. So if I have ur permission I make char with name FA.blablabla? (I mean to ident each other over battle.net we really need to create characters with some prefix)

As Seth said, the site's still there I just think with the amount of interest we've seen that it would be better to have our own site. Also like he said there are features on a clan site that a community doesn't have, such as ranks, a homepage, etc. Mainly I believe it will be much more organized having a seperate site. Our channel in game is Op Dfans though so we still want to have a close association with Dfans. And welcome, Silocibe.


Anyone can join so don't worry about that. And you don't need to have tags on your character so don't worry about the FA.blablabla, although you may do that if you wish. But use FA-blablabla if you do :P

I just started a new char as well so we're in the same boat :) Hopefully I see you online so we can help each other out.

By what happened to Diablofans.com I am asking why the site is no longer up. I get an error when I try to pull it up for 4 or 5 days now.

It is up, try clearing out your cookies, then go on.

whats up guys my name is pat... somehow i managed to make my way to become the old warlord of the old d2 division back in the day... i know so much about d2 it scares me sometimes.. i used to way back in day play on east with FrosT and when i joined the FA division slippy had us playing out on the west server... right now i have a 92 zon and acouple other toons 85+ that im to lazy to look up.. my bread and butter has always been a java zon and i cant stand trap assassins or FOH pallys... im just rambling now... hit me up on west if you have an acct on there... my acct is Svvagger.... and i just made one on east to play with mr canada and its FA-Swagger... i would love to see this division be reborn... and its good to see some old faces like cyb and chappy.. hit me up. peace

So I picked up the game again after a many year hiatus and am in need of direction as to where the state of the game is today. I'll be a great player once again but I obviously have new things to learn in the mean time. So yeah I quit right before the expansion (so I have been trying to avoid spoilers but I think its almost too late I may know too much)and was saddened that events in my life took me away from this beautiful game, but I have bought it again, HUZZAH!

I have no characters on US east but I can start over till the patch comes out (especially if I have trusted people to work with, I have yet to play online publicly anyways since returning for the fear of haxxors). Plus that will give me time to relearn everything and start pickup the stuff that is anew, since blizzard ensures that you have plenty of time, every time.

I can totally donate for vent if you need assistance blades just let me know. Guess its time for me to go buy a headset again, or dig thru that old box of junk for my old ones.

So if anyone here wants to play with me (i'm not a loot monster I swear!!! [laughs]) I have plenty of time as I rotate shifts and don't see my wife as often as I should be able to...

Well, Madmalice, I don't think many of us are currently playing. Like yourself, most of us are returning after quitting. Only difference is we're returning to play the new patch. Which is why this forum is not yet currently active. Almost all of us are waiting for the new patch to release to start up again. Some people are still playing but yea.

I think your best bet would be to go pub it up. Otherwise you'll get impatient sob's like me who just want to rush you through the game :P

I added you to friends in either case but I can't play during the week so you probably won't see me on.

I'm on quite a bit now so, Madmalice, add Shadowvenom and maybe we will run into each other on Battle.net. I haven't quit playing one of the greatest games in existence.

is D2 going to switch over to the new battle net?

I dunno.. doubt it.
