|
There's always next year for the Pirates lol........:suic:
|
Eh Arizona should of won...word is rockies had illegal performance boosters in their drinks.

Second best story in sports, behind my USF Bulls of course
I hope they win it all, as long as the Red Sox don't win I am happy |
I dunno what a USF Bull is, but good luck to them.
I've never gotten into college sports. Probably cause my College team has sucked since they won a few championships in the early 90s. i mean, they're complete trash now. And Kudos, it was Coors :O Rockies fucking rock though. I don't think anyone's going to stop them. Hopefully they get some respect now though. |
You don't know what a Bull is?:wtf:
|
I mean the team. I see 3 letters infront of is "USF", so I assume it's a College team. Since college football is going on right now, I assume it's a college football team. I've just never heard of em cause I don't keep up on college sports :\ Not saying there's anything wrong with College sports, cause there's not at all, I'm just saying, I've never kept up on it, so I'm a bit of an ignoramus as to what these USF Bulls have been up to.

Got you, I probably shouldn't have brought them up in a baseball thread anyways.
Who would you rather the Rockies play, Sox or Indians? |
Sox honestly. Reason is, no one gives 2 shits about the Indians, but if we beat the redsox, it'll be a more respected win. I think it'll be respected either way, but beating the Red Sox is just a little sweeter.
Either works though. I just hope whoever we face, it ends up 4-2 or 4-3 in the sox/indians series, so neither team feels on a roll, or invincible. Coming out of a hard series, and going into a series against a team that's won 21 of their last 22 games, and have swept their way through the playoffs, will play tricks on the mind of the team that just made it in by the skin of their nose. |

Shame that the sox beat the indians so hard.. probably feel like they're gonna do some damage.

13-1 so far, ouch
|
Rockies got Rocked, lol. Looks like that 9 days off really hurt our pitchers. They were changing pitcher after pitcher, and it seemed like NO ONE could throw a strike. I think we walked in 4 runs or so?
Oh well, always next game. |
Sox win, Rockies fail me.
Actually watched a little bit tonight, the cameras showed just as many sox fans as rocks. |
Uh oh. Bad news for KhAoZ.

Because of the whole mess of how they did the tickets(which caused people to protest outside Coors field), there were a lot of RedSox fans who got a hold of tickets, and flew out to see the game here. I was online refreshing that site for 3 hours trying to get tickets, as were MANY of us Rockies fans, and all we got was a bunch of pissed off fans. The ticket servers crashed, went down for 24 hours, came back up, and were crashing on and off for hours, as the tickets slowly sold out. They said there was 8.5 million people trying to get 50,000 tickets, and the servers couldn't hang. Oh well though. i'm not mad we got swept. Tigers lose 4-1 last year. Cards got swept in 4 in 04. It happens quite often, but it doesn't mean the other team didn't deserve to be there. Had we not had 9 days off for our whole team to go cold, I think things could have been different, but there's no reason to look back and whine about it, when we had such a great run. I'm happy for how far we got, as well as how it was done. Winning 17/18 just to make it into the playoffs, with a sliding run at the plate against San Diego, then the amazing series against the Phillies and then D-Backs to sweep our way to our first World Series. It was a wild run. I'm excited for next season as well. 21/22 is way beyond any streak, or fluke. This team is going to be good for some time I think. |
