Ok so...let me get this line out of the way: Screw the 360, live, and pay to play.


Ok, now that I have done that, we need to start getting organized for the PC division. Obviously, Rath is interested, who else is? I would like to see this become FA's new star division. CoD belongs on the PC, and we need a div for it.

And dont move this shit to the 360 Forum, we don't belong there.

I am not a console gamer. Had a Wii and got rid of it. It was an expensive reminder of why i don't game on console. ANywho for those that do that is cool we all have different tastes in our gaming experience. I jsut prefer to see this division for PC. Or like I suggested 2 divisions one for 360 and one for PC ( the leetness).

anyway that means i am in for the PC division.

I like console gaming, but FPS belongs on the PC. I about punched my monitor when I kept reading "lol dis is mai ghamer tag" in the CoD4 forum, where everyone was automatically assuming that it was for 360.

FUCK NO.

I havent seen one person use batman's brilliant (360) (PC) labeling system yet, so we had might as well get our own forum. We all know the game will look and play better on a PC anyway. Trying to combine us with them is too fucking confusing, and would result in both divisions failing miserably.

what happened alot of our brothers and sisters have gone to console. I understand PC gaming can be a little more expensive when you do upgrades and stuff but that is the beauty of it also. You can upgrade and still play all your games they just look and perform better.. I sure wish some of the guys and gals would come back to the PC platform.

anyway I think a few old timers might be up for joining us I talked to FA|Irieman8 a couple days ago and he is starting to play agian in some games. Now I just have to get ahold of FA|Renegade hehe. anyway I will be working on some of the people in my eq2 guild and trying to get them to come and play also I think i have one from there who is going to play for sure we play alot of bf 2 together.

I will try to get some people from my LAN party and local car forum, although they may be more interested in TF2 at the moment (which I am too).

We cant be in the same division, it just wont work, in every aspect.

I also suggest that we be seperated for UT3. There are already 360 vs PC fights breaking out in there too.

You get enough people, and sure. Right now there's about 10-14 people with the 360 beta though, so that's why things moved a lot quicker for the 360 guys.

I just haven't seen much interest at all for the PC version.

What wasn't to not understand? He's tired of people going into his R6V forum and trying to get recruited for the COD4 division.

I would know that, seeing as how I go in the xbox forums all the time....

Yeah I've met a few people from the mid-west (particularly Michigan) and they all seemed pretty nice to me lol. I suppose he just came off a tad bit rude. Perhaps it's just my be Canadian eh?

If you guys get the people though, let us know. I'd love to see a COD4 PC division. You should try it out Ice, I think you'd like it. Been playing the 360 beta every day with Freeman, Killya and a bunch of other guys, and the game is great.

What's up man long time since I seen you dogg. It will be sweet if you get that pc and a copy man we can pwn it up. I just got my new system built adn I am ready I have been playing the current titles everything maxed out so I don't think I will have any issues running COD4. I ended up building another AMD system went with the am2 socket running a amd 64 x2 processor in this system. was looking at the fx chips but prices are kinda high on those.

I reserved the special edition of the game yesterday at GameStop.

Single player demo released today for pc. I got it from the COD website. I like it alot. I am in on this division full power. I need a change up from the MMORPG scene for a bit. I will be playing warhammer online though ( I think if it is as cool as the hype.).

So what is up on this are we going to try and get a division going in this game at release. Or we going to let the 360 crew just go with there division. Just curious on this. I am pretty excited about this game. I might even quit eq2 and play this instead, AND be a F@Cking PRO. Let me know what is up at this point. I know the game hasn't released yet just want to get a little more organizied (or something).

Before I make any decisions on that, let me pick up the game. I am waiting on that magical phone call from GameStop.

actually an ATI x1900 XT with 512mb ram in a quad core machine (processor x2)

Quad core is 4 processors, a core 2 duo is 2 processors. Anyway I run an amd 64 X2 5200+, and 2 GB of ram and 2 7900 GS 256 MB cards in SLI. It runs great and looks great on my machine. I was happy with the singleplayer gameplay have to see how the multiplayer is since we can play more then 8v8 it should be pretty damn hot IMO. Anyway we will see I am getting a 360 also just so i can play in the MLG tourney's. I have decided I am going to be a pro gamer with my wife's promotion at work, I will have the time to get down and dirty with gaming and the money to travel. It works out tourney's last a weekend that is enough time for me to play in the tourney and her to shop hehe in the city we are in. It all works out but yeha i am in on COD4 fo sho we will have to wait and see how it pans out with the ladders who support it of course.

That's inaccurate. A "quad core" is a processor with 4 cores. A "core 2 duo" or "dual core" is 1 processor with two cores. I have a "quad core machine" in that that I have 2 processors, each with two cores, therefore running four cores simultaneously. There are quad core and dual core machines that have multiple processors, meaning 4 or 8 cores.
