In-game Names...
 

The forums are boring, and I'm bored. So Im going to keep asking stupid questions, similar to who likes what map best, and the following - so I'm slightly less bored.

How did everyone come up with thier In-Game names? I only ask because generally there is some story behind everyone's names.

Not all that much of a story behind mine - nor is mine very original, but I'll start.

The first video game I really got addicted to was called One Must Fall (OMF). A MS DOS game (A LONG time ago), it was one of the first games in the "Fighting" genre. An extremely small 2d arena that had just enough room for 2 40-ft tall robots, remotely controlled by the player, to duke it out, untill One Falls. (Thus the name). My favorite character (Raven), was some old guy, and the "Final Boss" of the game, but I liked his robot the best - instead of melee attacks and "concussion cannons", he used flamethrowers and fire as his primary weapons. (Can't get much cooler than that). But yeah, that was a long time ago, and pretty much ever since, I have been known as Raven. So yeah, no real story behind it, just a long drawn out paragraph about an old, awesome game called OMF.

Umm... I was sitting there for ages, and thought LeThaL- looked good. Also I had the name LiQu!diZ3d^ which looks good.

I invented my name when I was like 10 as a X-Men character lol. When I got internet for the first time and needed a username I thought of that and blam that was it.

Mine was originall sex-pistol (random) acount got hacked so turned to pro and he gave me the name FLASHBANG whihc came form lethal so :)

I got mine when I played tribes online, all the 11 yr olds in the game had really overly wicked cool names so I went for the opposite so I could be different and it turns out I have no problem living up to my name in game.

I'm a lot like that. My last name is Paavola and a lot of people call me Paav. The 21 came from a fortune teller that said I would die at the age of 21. Well..., by 'fortune teller' I mean a drunk friend and I guessed. Either way it was wrong. :D

i explained in another post but:

"BloodRed" was taken on a art site back in highschool so i made it "BloodRedBath"... ...they called me "blood" for short on the server i played at so i shortened it to "blood"

that's it.

i was in the army for 3 years and drove a bradley infantry vechile for some of that time so ie bradley the 77 comes form the year i was born as well as my football number in highschool .......duh

Ive had my name as catch22 since i started playing FPS games. The meaning of Catch22 is as follows. A general sitution in which an individual has to accomplish two actions which are mutally dependent on the other action being completed first. And there ya have it, my contribution :D

i used to lick lamenated wood when i was 5 years old and i called it lamenant and i wannted a really cool name like the guys in halo when i was 12 so lamenant stuck and i lost the pass for Lamenant and made lamenant98

I had SpinU2 like8-9 years ago when i played Nascar 3, and then started playn AvP2 with Spin, and I've had it ever since....i've been called all sorts of names though lmao

My real name is Kevin and 1327 is my house number...I don't know if I was supposed to tell you that but yeah it's simple huh.
