Headphones!
Don't just say your to rep them. Honestly what are one of the best pair of gaming headphones to get?
|
i been looking around for bout a month for a set, but i cant really find any i like....a buddy bought a set that uses the usb on his puter but it dont use the soundcard for the sound so its kinda not making sense to me as to why have a kickass soundcard then, and it seems it would make the prcessor work harder feeding the headphones since the soundcard isnt doing it...but i honestly don't know, if ya get any answers i'd be curious to see them as im hunting for a set also.

Ive got a pair of $30 Logitech ones that I use for LAN Parties and Scrims and such. Built in Mic and they are the comfortable, squishy padded kind.
|
i got a $20 pair of sony stereo headphones from walmart. They have good sound quality, plus i have beat this pair all to hell and they still work like a charm. No mic built into them, but i dont mind. My monitor has a built in microphone so i dont gotta worry about getting headsets.
My $0.02 |
I got a $100 LTB 5.1 true surround set /w mic. The mic broke but the headphones are good. I wouldn't suggest LTB though as there isn't enough padding and it hurts my head after extended use.

i use a $40 pair of Kinyos that i hate. don't buy them.
Ice mats have a lot of issues (not just freeman's). Many people who own them complain about them as i've seen it. *shrug* |
Look at sennheisers headset,s I've been using them for years and they are built for online gaming with top notch quality.

Depends what your price range is. What is it?
|
Platonic and Sennheiser are the two leading suppliers of online gaming headphones I recommend one of them.

best pair of headphones you can get?
http://www.headphone.com/guide/by-ma.../akg-k-701.php $300 however. they're beautiful, they sound amazing for not only games but if you're a audiophile/enjoy music, you'll enjoy these. cons -> price, and might need an amp if you're really picky. i reccomend ATLEAST an audigy 2 zs, better off with a xtrememusic or whatever the new ones are |
price...eh I would say like $50-$80, so that last one posted...rofl
