wow, i can't tell, but if its real, its pretty amazingly good for a render.

if i had to guess, the mouth lacks 3d bones... if it had more (as per my theory) the smile wouldn't look so straight (it goes pretty much straight back)

the hair is amazing compared to past works. check this out from ~2000/2001:

No, it's a real render, lol. I meant, is she real, or is it a Render? Not literally, but more to point out that the render is really well done. Only things wrong are the curves of her lips in her smile, and her hair, but no one can do hair right yet. I don't think the tech is that far along. They're getting there though.

I can tell she is not real, she looks like a 3d model. Pretty realistic though.

She looks perfectly real to me although I can't get the thought out of my head when I look at the picture that she looks like an android or something. Not quite... human?

The way I was able to tell was all 3d models have this....idk how to describe it...lack of skin glare or something...that makes them look unreal.

If your just skimming through there is no way you would be able to tell the difference. But after carefully looking, the edges are too smooth, and the lack of body hair produces a shine effect. The skin reflects the light as if she is wearing gloss rather than absorbing it.
