ummm, cause people will pay 49.99 per game? or maybe its cause they will pay 49.99 and still be saving 10 dollars as compared to buying a 360 or ps3 game?

Maybe also becasue I don't ever recall anyone ever saying "Wii games will be 29.99". So, if noone ever said otherwise wouldn't you think the price would remain the same, or possibly rise?

no offense kevin cause i respect u an all, but, being a next-gen console(360, ps3, wii) having games cost 50 bucks is actully actully a deal if u look at the 60 dollar 360 games or the 70 dollar PS3 games. And actully current-gen consoles (ps2, xbox, gamecube) games cost 50 dollars so ur actully paying the price of a current-gen console with it being a next-gen console

True, and of I'm sure the Wii will loose the battle, but still, I may get a Wii in the futute (i already have a 360), and thats a fun way to play video games. I t kind of like a secondary choice to me

I hear the contrary for Wii. The way things are shaping up and all the high score reviews for Wii so far, as well as high scores for games like Zelda: Twilight Princess (which has a 98% average score all across the interenet, btw), Wii may very well be the victor of this console war.

Unfourtunatley for the Wii Twilight Princess is the only game worthy of playing. And I'm getting if for gc. So theres no reason for me to get one.

In my eyes the Wii is in a completly different genre of gaming. It's not a standard console. Alot of people with 360's and who are get the PS3 have also said they will be getting a Wii as well. This is only the beginning so give it time. When 360 first came out its sales werent really that great. Over the past year it's picked up considerably. I hope the PS3 flops though I'm one with all their shitty problems.
