ahh quiet the conundrum you have brought about here Spin. See the star wars geeks would argue that the New Star wars would technically be Episodes 4-6 (new hope, empire strikes back, & return of the jedi); and the old could be episodes 1-3(Phantom menace, attack of the clones, & Revenge of the sith) . More over the opposite of what i just said could be true as well.

But to keep things simple ill go with old star wars in the sense of episodes 4-6.
